What I Do

I help universities, training teams, and EdTech companies build clearer and more effective STEM learning experiences — from course design to AI-powered assessment and technical content.

I design complete STEM courses including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Physics, Python, and Engineering Math. Each course includes clear learning outcomes, lecture notes, practice problems, exams, and grading rubrics — ready to use in-person, online, or in hybrid formats.

I integrate AI into assessment and feedback workflows in a practical and responsible way. This includes AI-assisted rubrics, question generation, structured feedback templates, and Python-based dashboards to track student performance and identify learning gaps.

I create high-quality technical learning materials for STEM and developer audiences: Jupyter notebooks, problem sets with full solutions, LaTeX documents, slide decks, and visual explanations — including Manim animations — that make complex concepts easier to understand.

About Rogelio

I’m Rogelio Cuevas, a California-based STEM Learning Engineer with more than 15 years of experience teaching mathematics, physics, and engineering at the university level.

My background combines mathematical physics, engineering, and real classroom experience with diverse student groups. I work with modern tools such as Python, LaTeX, Manim, and AI-powered workflows to design learning experiences that are rigorous, clear, and practical.

I focus on helping students move beyond fear and memorization. My goal is to make abstract concepts feel concrete, intuitive, and usable — for both students and instructors.

Resources

Featured Resources

I’m building a growing collection of practical resources for STEM instructors and students. These materials are designed to be used directly in courses or for focused self-study.

A concise guide to limits with intuitive explanations and 20 carefully selected practice problems, each with full step-by-step solutions.

A focused collection of derivative exercises covering product, quotient, chain rule, and trigonometric functions, with clear worked solutions.

A clean, professional LaTeX template for STEM exams, including example questions and a short starter guide to customize it quickly.

A collection of kinematics problems covering 1D motion, free fall, and basic applications, with detailed reasoning and final answers.

Why Work With Me

I’m not just a content writer or prompt engineer. I’ve taught math, physics and engineering courses for more than 15 years, so I understand the real challenges students face, and the constraints instructors have in actual classrooms.

As a California-based professional working remotely, I’m aligned with U.S. time zones and expectations. I use AI, Python and data analysis to accelerate content creation and assessment workflows — always with human judgment, academic integrity and clarity as priorities.

I deliver concrete, ready-to-use assets: LaTeX exams, worksheets, Jupyter notebooks, slide decks, rubrics and implementation notes. The goal is to make adoption easy for your team so you can focus on teaching, not formatting or debugging.
